Consignment

We are interested in the following types of items.

Items recently purchased:

  • Within the last two years
  • Clean/dry cleaned
  • In Style
  • In excellent condition
  • Preferably on hangers
  • Designer labels and Boutique items
  • Women's clothing
  • Handbags
  • Shoes
  • Jewelry
  • Belts
  • Hats
  • Accessories

First time consignors with Wear It's At are by appointment only.  Appointments are made by calling the store.  First time consignors are limited to only bring in 20 items of clothing, unlimited shoes, bags, and jewelry.  A staff member will go over our consignment contract with you answering any and all questions along the way.  During your first appointment our staff will look through your items and tell you the items we can accept to sell in our store.


Consignment Policy

Wear It's At determines the sale price and reserves the right to refuse any item.  Please point out any exceptional high value items.

If we deem any items are unacceptable for consignment we will return it at the time of your appointment.  Please allow a brief waiting period for our staff to look through your items.

After your first initial appointment consignors have the option to do a "Drop and Dash".  This means items may be brought in at any time and our staff will look thorough your items at a later time.  If something is deemed unacceptable for consignment those items are donated to charity and you will receive a tax credit.

The consignment period is the remainder of the month you bring items in plus two full calendar months after that.  The consignment period for white ticket designer items is six months and is seasonal.  All other designer items will stay until they are sold or the consignor is called to pick them up.

The consignor will recieve 50% of the sale not to include the item fee.  The price of each item may be reduced up to 50%.  All items are subject to special sales and promotions.

Consignors have the option to call the last week of their consignment period and request a pick up of their unsold items.  Please allow two days for staff to gather your itmes.  If items are unclaimed they will become property of Wear It's At.  Most items are donated to Suited to Succeed.  Welfare to Work program for women and tax forms are given at the end of the year to those who request them.

Payments to consignors are made at the store.

Although good care is always taken items are left at the shop entirely at the owner's risk.  Wear It's At shall not be held responsible for loss or damage.


Drop and Dash

If you have already consigned with us you may participate in our drop and dash program.  This means you may bring your items by at any time and leave them after you sign the drop off consignment log.  Our staff will look through your items aat a later time.  Anything that we are unable to sonsign will be donated to charity.  However, items that we put on the floor for asle but do not sell can be picked up at the end of the consignment period.


Consignment Period
